7-9 p.m.
If a band named Uninvited Guests sounds fun, you'll definitely love their brand of bluegrass, newgrass, rock, country and a few originals. The banjo, vocals and original songs are courtesy of Chip Griffin, a Paducah native and purveyor of Wilson’s Office Supplies. Greg Taylor plays bass – the instrument, not the fish. Sherman Jones, of Jones Steel in Grahamville, plays guitar and provides inspired harmony and lead vocals. He’s often referred to as the man of steel. Richard Calvert, an expatriate Californian, plays mandolin and fiddle and sings harmony and lead vocals. Word is he has an inspiring collection of bad jokes. 444.0044.

Jean Kerr’s Broadway comedy focuses on wisecracking cynic Mary and sensible Bob. They're on the verge of divorce and an IRS audit. (Wow, double-whammy.) The humor touches on all our favorites: taxes, marriage, alimony, divorce, remarriage, extra-marital affairs, weight-loss and sex. Miss Ellie herself, Barbara Bel Geddes, was nominated for a Tony Award for her 1961 starring role. Dinner optional. 270.436.2399.
